A wholesale scanner, or Amazon bulk analysis tool, matches every line of a supplier price list to its Amazon listing and calculates profit, ROI, sales and risk for the whole file at once. This guide compares the three main ones as of October 2026: Seller Assistant’s Price List Analyzer (our product), Scan Unlimited and Analyzer.Tools. They differ most in price, file limits, marketplaces, and what you can do with the results after the scan.

The short list

  • Price List Analyzer by Seller Assistant: for wholesale sellers who want the scan, a restriction check on their own seller account and the purchase order in one tool. From $29.99/month.
  • Scan Unlimited: for a free start. The free plan scans 1 file a month with up to 10,000 products.
  • Analyzer.Tools: for the most price and rank history per product, and for short passes from $15 for 2 days.

How many lines in a supplier price list are worth buying?

About 41 of every 1,000 supplier lines are real leads, according to Seller Assistant’s State of Amazon Wholesale, Q3 2026. The report uses 13.5 million supplier lines that 782 wholesale sellers uploaded for Amazon.com between July 2025 and August 2026. Its headline numbers come from the 4.6 million lines of the 100 sellers who scan regularly.

A lead in the report passes four checks: the Amazon listing can be checked, it gives 20% to 200% ROI on the Buy Box price after Amazon fees, it sells at least 5 units a month (estimated), and Amazon does not hold the Buy Box. Of 1,000 supplier lines:

StepLines left

Are profitable153
Give 20% ROI or more100
Also sell 5 or more units a month50

To find 41 leads by hand, you would look up 959 lines that you will not buy. After the ROI check, the sales check removes half of the lines with 20% ROI or more, so set a sales filter as well as an ROI filter. The same report finds an IP-risk flag on about 3 in 10 products in supplier price lists, so plan the restriction check and the brand check as part of the same review.

How we compared the tools

We checked each vendor’s own website on October 16, 2026, and compared the tools on the same criteria:

  • Price and free plan or trial, as of October 2026
  • File and row limits
  • Amazon marketplaces
  • Matching and profit math: identifiers, multipacks, fees and VAT
  • Restriction and IP checks
  • What you can do with the results after the scan

Seller Assistant is our product. For the other tools, we describe what their own sites state. Vendors change prices often, so check the pricing page before you buy. For a feature-by-feature look at three of these tools, see best Amazon price list analyzers.

Price List Analyzer by Seller Assistant

Price List Analyzer page on sellerassistant.app (October 2026)

Price List Analyzer is the bulk analysis tool in Seller Assistant. You choose the Amazon marketplace, upload an .xlsx or .xls price list, and confirm the columns: identifier, cost of goods, supplier SKU and case quantity. Then you set the price type to Each or Case. For a case price with a case quantity, the unit cost is the case price divided by that quantity. Every identifier is matched to Amazon and enriched with 120+ data points.

Profit, ROI, margin, break-even price and maximum cost of goods are calculated for FBA and FBM. You set inbound shipping, prep, 3PL costs and VAT, and choose whether profit uses the current Buy Box price or the 30, 90 or 180-day average. Matching Rules let you always or never match an identifier to a given ASIN. You can check restrictions in bulk on your own seller account, for the full list or a selection, and the results appear in the table. Saved views keep your columns and filters for the next price list.

When the shortlist is ready, you select the products and create a purchase order for that supplier. Cost, SKU and case quantity carry over from the price list. Each upload also adds products and offers to the supplier’s record, and you can reanalyze a list with fresh data without uploading the file again.

  • Price as of October 2026: Pro $29.99/month with 3,000 product scans a month; Business $79.99/month with 150,000 scans a month (300,000 on the annual plan, $69.99/month); Business Plus $189.99/month with unlimited scans (fair use).
  • Free trial: 14 days, with 3,000 Price List Analyzer scans. Trial exports include the first 25 rows of each result.
  • Limits: the monthly scan allowance of your plan. Seller Assistant does not publish a row limit per file.
  • Marketplaces: you choose the Amazon marketplace for each file.
  • Also in the plan: Bulk Restriction Checker, the Seller Assistant extension and IP-Alert. Business adds the MCP server, which runs Price List Analyzer from Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants.
  • Best for: wholesale sellers and teams who go from supplier price list to purchase order every week.

Analyzer.Tools

Analyzer.Tools homepage (October 2026)

The web plans add Bulk Seller Restrictions for up to 20,000 ASINs at once (Selling Allowed, Approval Required or Not Eligible), favorites lists and a brand blocklist. Web app Pro adds 30, 90 and 180-day history for Bought in Past Month, Amazon in-stock rate, average Buy Box, average and lowest sales rank, and rank drops.

FAQ

What is a wholesale scanner for Amazon?

A wholesale scanner matches every line of a supplier price list to its Amazon listing by UPC, EAN or ASIN and calculates profit, ROI, estimated sales and risk for the whole file at once. You then filter the results to the products worth buying instead of checking each line by hand.

Is there a free Amazon wholesale scanner?

Scan Unlimited has a free plan that scans 1 file a month with up to 10,000 products, as of October 2026. Seller Assistant has a 14-day free trial with 3,000 Price List Analyzer scans.

How many products in a supplier price list are profitable on Amazon?

About 41 of every 1,000 supplier lines are real leads, according to Seller Assistant’s State of Amazon Wholesale, Q3 2026. A lead gives 20% ROI or more, sells at least 5 units a month, and Amazon does not hold the Buy Box.

Do bulk scanners check Amazon selling restrictions?

Price List Analyzer checks restrictions in bulk on your own seller account, Analyzer.Tools checks up to 20,000 ASINs at once on its web plans, and Scan Unlimited lists a restriction check for ASINs and brands. Restrictions depend on your seller account, so check them before you place the order.

Which one should you choose?

  • You want to go from a supplier price list to a purchase order in one tool, with restriction checks on your own seller account: Price List Analyzer by Seller Assistant.
  • You scan one or two small lists a month and want to pay nothing: Scan Unlimited’s free plan.
  • You want the most price and rank history per product, or need one large list scanned this week: Analyzer.Tools, with a 2-day pass.
